Air Circulation System

What is a Fine-Dust Purifying Air Circulation System?

Air conditioning refers to the integrated control of heating, cooling, and ventilation. However, in many cases, ventilating a space during heating or cooling causes the conditioned indoor air to be exhausted—leading to cold discomfort in winter or heat discomfort in summer—while also resulting in significant energy loss.

The total heat recovery ventilator (HRV) was developed to address both issues simultaneously. It is a bidirectional ventilation system that expels contaminated indoor air while simultaneously supplying fresh outdoor air. During this process, thermal energy that would otherwise be lost to the outside is recovered and transferred back indoors through an air-to-air heat exchange mechanism, thereby maintaining indoor comfort while minimizing energy loss.

Air Circulator

Principle of Fine Dust–Purifying Air Circulators

The system employs a cross-flow, plate-type total heat exchanger. Specially engineered partition plates fully separate the supply air and exhaust air passages, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring that only fresh air is delivered indoors. By utilizing advanced heat-transfer and moisture-permeable materials, the exchanger enables highly efficient transfer of both sensible heat (temperature) and latent heat (humidity) as supply and exhaust air pass through the ventilation system.

Fine-Dust Clean Air Circulator – Key Benefits

  • Energy-Saving Performance

    The system exhausts contaminated indoor air while supplying fresh, filtered outdoor air back into the space.
    During winter, incoming outside air is pre-heated and humidified using indoor exhaust heat;
    during summer, it is pre-cooled and dehumidified by the cooler indoor air.

  • Comfortable Indoor Environment

    By recovering otherwise wasted thermal energy and reusing it, the system minimizes heat loss and significantly reduces heating and cooling costs.

  • Outdoor Noise Isolation

    External noise is effectively blocked from entering the room, enabling quiet and stable ventilation even in noise-sensitive environments.
